Following the implementation of the City Audit’s activities, RiSSC has conducted the City Integration Labs, on the 12th and 13th of November 2018.
The City Integration Labs aimed to discuss and analyse the most probable future scenarios so that identify the most efficient actions to be recommended to the Municipality of Rubano in order to increase the local integration of TCN. These actions will be included in the City Integration Agenda.

RiSSC has drawn the scenarios thanks to the forecasts of fifty-one experts and citizens of Rubano, collected through a specific survey spread during the previous month.

The agenda included three lab sessions targeted at three different audiences.

The first lab session, on 12th of November, the researchers Lorenzo Segato and Nicola Capello met some refugees, from Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire and Liberia, hosted by the System for Protection of Asylum Seekers and Refugees (SPRAR) of Rubano. Subsequently, on the same day, the researchers carried out the second lab session with a dozen of local experts on integration and immigration.

During this first two sessions, the researchers introduced the City Audit’s results and discussed with the participants about the most probable future scenarios.

During the third session, on the 13th November morning, the researchers met the mayor and the councillor for the Social Policies of Rubano.
This last session was dedicated to read the results of the two first lab sessions and to recognize the actions to implement in the future to increase integration of TCN in Rubano.
